Hallo Freunde! I have returned home upon my wonderful trip to Europe and still have so many pictures to share with you. I promise not to bore you with every single picture, but I really wanted to share the last couple of days of my trip with you because of the two fabulous places we visited...
One of those places was this beautiful butterfly garden located in Luxembourg...
...the garden was very well done, with lots and lots of colorful butterflies, a perfect place for a crazed shutterbug like me...
The butterflies loved to have their pictures taken, so much so, they would even land on us...
The cutest thing ever, my niece enchanted by the butterflies...
This is how she dressed for the occasion, because they tell you in the brochure to dress colorful and wear lots of perfume to attract the butterflies...
We all got a good laugh, because she dressed up like a human rainbow. Note the rainbow colored socks and the rainbow flower lei! LOL
He was also among the colorful inhabitants at the garden...
...along with quiet and calm Pascal...
...and this hard-working bee colony...
Notice the bees with the pollen on their legs????
I also wanted to share this place with you too. This is the oldest city in Germany, Trier. We went here after the butterfly garden to have dinner and visit the little French festival they happen to be having that day....
When I visited Trier on my last visit to Germany, I fell in love with this town's old world charm. I just had to re-visit this truly beautiful and charming place!!!!
An outdoor wine bar....
...what a fantastic idea!!!!
Lucky me, perfect timing on this picture....
...Divine Intervention, perhaps????
...I loved this cute little band playing French accordian music!
...these were vendors at the little French festival in the Trier marketplace...
Enjoying a good German beer...
My incredible dinner...Chicken, "Vienna style" with bernaise sauce and fried parsley....So good it should have been against the law! LOL
Camryn, enjoying a glass of traditional apple shulla (apple flavored sparkling water)...
My sister and brother in law's dinner, Chef's Schnitzel, with three cheese potatoes...
...it was outstanding!!!
And for dessert...A lingonberry topped Belgian waffle with whipped cream and powdered sugar.
I promise I didn't eat the whole thing! ;-))
Thank you for stopping by, on my next post I will show you the Belgian flea market I went to on my last shopping day in Europe. Oh, and I will announce the winner of that rhinestone cuff bracelet I'm trying to give away. It's not too late to enter the giveaway, all you have to do is leave me a comment anywhere on my blog!
