Bienvenue Vintage Home...

Last month I featured one of the store locations, where my jewelry is on display and for sale, Antiques on Holiday...well this month I am featuring another location, "Bienvenue Vintage Home". I only have one shelf of jewelry here, but the location is quite fabulous! I am right beside the entrance way, so everyone can see my display as they are walking in and out of the front door. Too cool, n'est-ce pas???? I love being in this location, because the prices are great on all of their vintage finds and the staff is really friendly. Stop by if you get a chance, and take a look around. Their location is 11840 Hwy. 98, Destin Florida (across from Seascape Resort) and there is plenty of feast for the eye, like these cool old guys that just came in....

An Incredible Journey...

Well my trip to Germany is only one week away, and I am so excited I can't stand it! My sister moved there with her husband and my adorable little niece about 6 months ago, and I think I have been more excited about the move than she has. Finally, a way to go see Europe and actually have family to stay with. I plan to make several trips while she is over there so I can do some serious antiquing for my jewelry stash. So stay tuned to my blog, because I will be posting pictures of my entire trip along with some beautiful treasures I uncover on our weekend trip to the Paris fleas and Eiffel Tower!!!

New/old earrings in my Etsy store. I will be making lots of gorgeous, one-of-kind, affordable earrings and posting them here for Christmas...

The "Holy Dove and a Sacred Heart" Necklace. This piece is way more stunning on and in person. The handcarved mother of pearl vintage sacred heart, is 'to die for'!!! And the hand cut garnet links give this piece added vintage appeal, don't you think???? 

I've been having alot of fun making these old bangle bracelets lately. I've added vintage rhinestone pieces to old bangles and then attached antique medals and crosses to the sides. There will be more to come as Christmas approaches and they will only be available on my blog or through my local stores, as I will not be putting them in my Etsy store. Etsy Goodies...

It's always so fun and exciting to buy something online from a fellow artisan. You see it, paypal it, dream about what it's gonna look like, and then you receive it! And when you get it and it exceeds all of your expectations and then some, you wanna show it off to everyone! Well here is my latest little treasure I purchased off of Etsy (yes, not only am I addcted to antiques, but I'm an Etsy addict too!)...

Eat your heart out Prince, I finally got me one!

The little scarflette came packaged so pretty in that floral pink and turquoise paper with beautiful  ribbons attached. She even sent me a pretty handwritten note on that gorgeous little card pictured to the left.

My sweet friend Kathleen, the art deco wedding planner extraordinaire, commissioned me to make her a French cut steel bracelet using this buckle she had found on one of her antiquing excursions. I love taking a special piece of someone else's collection and making something custom just for them! I used lots of pretty vintage rhinestones, an old cameo locket, and some art nouveau findings to accent her piece. Do you have something special or sentimental that you would like to wear????

Some new earrings in my Etsy store. Since my first pair of St. Anne earrings sold almost instantly, I decided to make another pair using these great old mercury glass medals. They are really, really hard to find and I was lucky enough to find two! Well actually my Aunt Marsha from Maryland found one of the medals at one of her local auctions and I stumbled on the other from an antique dealer on Etsy. (yes, I know, more money I spent on Etsy, I'm telling you guys, I just can't stop buying stuff!) Seriously though, I doubt very seriously I will ever find another pair of these beauties again. A perfect mixture of luck, prayers, and divine intervention must occur in order for this miracle to happen again.

This is the French Crucifix Buckle Bracelet, currently for sale in my Etsy store. I wanted to list another because the buckle bracelet of the week for last week sold out fast. So here is another really pretty and special piece. The bronzed crucifix along with the old French beaded buckle really make this piece one of a kind. Buckle Bracelet of the Week...

The "Parisian Beaded Buckle Bracelet" is this week's feature bracelet. I really feel like this piece is an elegant toast to the Oh So Fabulous, Paris.       

Remember all those buckles I showed you? Well I'm starting to put them to good use and I'm turning them into bracelets. You can find them for sale in my Etsy store, or you can contact me through my email to find out more about them.

 My St. Anne Earrings were made using bronzed French medals, lots of chains and some old sterling flower links. I really think they came out gorgeous and very unique!

A Tiny Harmonica...

Isn't this the sweetest little harmonica you've ever seen? I love the little bit of red in the center. It looks as if someone really played and loved on this piece alot!
