LA Fun Times...

Had a wonderful, and very quick trip to LA a few days ago, so literally it has been a whirlwind of a week!

But, I have managed to get some pictures of my trip together for you and finish a few new nature inspired pieces that will be coming to my shop tomorrow!

I had to order something with some avocado on it. That's a "must do" when you go to California. This amazing pizza was enjoyed at the California Pizza Kitchen right around the corner from our hotel...talk about YUM!

Flying home on the 'left wing' over the beautiful Sierra Nevada...

(LA was great...but I couldn't get home fast enough, and to quote Dorothy, "There's no place like Home"!)

Had some great fun in the studio this weekend upon my return home...

So happy to be back home and at the bench again where my heart sings!!!

Gems, Pearls, And Lariats...

Yes, it was that time of year again....time to go and play in the gems and pearls at our local town's annual gemstone show. And, I must say, we have the two best pearl and gemstone dealers that always show up and bring their "A" game! Just look at this stock of pearls....

And the best quality gems hand cut right here in the good ol' USA....

I could have easily went to the poor house shopping this show!!!!

I also have some finished Lariats going to the shop this afternoon...

Simple, sweet, and oh so elegant!

R'nR' At It's Finest...

Hello from the mountains of North Carolina! Been enjoying life and taking a short little break from 'the bench' to recharge and refresh the creative flow.

I've also been doing a little antiquing...check out this vintage Waterford Crystal chandelier I found for a most excellent price (which I successfully talked myself out of buying)....

...I've also managed to blow my diet into oblivion (an easy enough task)...

...I've enjoyed a hand crafted beer or two...

....been warming my bones by the fire...

...it's COLD up here for us Floridians!

....and I'm also getting mentally ready to attempt this tomorrow...

Taking a very short break from jewelry designing to go and recharge my batteries and visit my beloved "happy place"...

Gonna do absolutely nothing but maybe watch a few birds...

..and rest my bones by the fire....
