"War Horse"...

Hello Everyone!!! Sorry it has been a while since I have posted, but I've been really busy getting my new line "War Horse" underway. And yes, it is inspired by that great award winning movie that is out in theaters right now. I am always so inspired by animals and absolutely LOVE to use them in my work.

I have a real soft spot for dogs, birds and horses and I reference them in  my work quite often.

I have not seen the movie yet, for fear of balling like a great big baby in front of a movie house full of people, but have been so inspired by the movie trailer and that era in time, that I have decided to create my own line dedicated to the dazzling and beautiful "War Horse".....

I have lots to add, and there will be more great stuff coming little by little, as I have a chance to dig through this crazy overflowing art studio of mine. I have a lot of buried treasures within these four walls and it must find some new, good homes...

Finally...

Finally, after a really long day of not having internet, (yes, I did say "no internet") and Etsy's very confusing  shop set up rules... I have managed to complete my month's long task at hand.

New Year, New Giveaway...

Happy New Year mes amis!!! I hope every one's year has taken off to a good start, so far so good for my year! I am starting this year off with a brand new earring giveaway for all of you out there in blogland. Cranberry Cornbread Muffins!

And, they were simply DIVINE!!! I highly recommend this amazing little combination of two simple holiday staples. The muffins paired perfectly with my Jalapeno Black Eyed Peas this year.

Did everyone eat there peas for good luck this year????
