Handpainted Treasures...

Have you ever found something so magical, held it in your hands and was instantly transported to another time and place? Well, the piece pictured above is that ONE special something for me. It is the most beautiful Victorian hand painted landscape scene under glass I ever been lucky enough to find. I found it on my last trip to London, and instantly fell head over heels in love with it. This is a piece, that is so special...because, not only is it a souvenir from a fabulous trip filled with lots of fun memories, but it holds those unique powers... the power of taking me to another era and place in time. I get lost in this beautiful scene every time I stare into it. That is the way jewelry is supposed to make someone feel, and when you have found that one, certain piece, you covet it and cherish those feelings they awaken inside you.

I have a few more English hand painted pieces I have been working on this past week along with some coming up in the days ahead....

There is a homage to Cambridge...

...and a very special necklace with souvenir's from DoverCourt...

I also have some hand painted Toil pieces coming up too (more about them later)...

To see and read more about these pieces, stop by my Etsy shop this evening. They will make their debut there tonight. Have a beautiful weekend everyone!
