Showgirls...

I had a wonderful show yesterday right here in my lovely hometown with gorgeous weather and some beautiful 'showgirls'. Above is my niece and myself posing in my booth.

And the funny hat ladies were up to their crazy old antics again...

...caught this scene out of the corner of my eye and grabbed my camera as fast as I could...

...a bride and her photographer getting some wedding photos right in front of my booth. Magic!!!!

And I just love the photo below....my sweet niece hypnotized by the jewelry sparkle, LOL...

Ohhhh, and I have a few pieces coming to my Etsy shop tonight! You know I would never leave my blog and Etsy shop friends out of the show loot!

I will be in Etsy later this afternoon with more pictures and info on all of my latest pieces!
Have a great rest of your weekend Blogland!

Spring Scramble...

Its that time a year again! Time for design overdrive- panic mode for the annual Art In The Park show coming up next weekend. I have been busy as a bee designing, creating, and assembling new pieces for the show. Here are some of the pieces I have been working on lately...Long, lovely layers with gorgeous tassels...

I also finished some new earrings this past week that will be going to the shop this afternoon...

Some of these tassel necklaces will be available in my Etsy shop this afternoon, some will be going to the show. Or you can always email me if you see one you like but don't see it in the shop.
Have a wonderful and LONG Sunday afternoon everyone! I just LOVE daylight savings time!!!

Working And Antiquing....

Went on our annual Milton, Florida antique jaunt this week....

...had a blast with my jewelry pal Mary Kay and stumbled upon some beautiful pieces that could only ever be acquired in my dreams....

The piece above was only $4,000. And needless to say, it did not come home with me. It's a very fascinating piece in the fact that it is an early Victorian conversion choker. It was made in the 1800's from a 14k gold filigree, pearl and diamond purse frame. Stunning isn't it?

And we got a good chuckle out of the cameo below...

It reminded us of Mary Kay's father....Imagine wearing a cameo around with an image of your dad!!! LOL.

I've also been working on an upcoming show. The annual Watercolor "Art In The Park" is coming up next week and I've been creating these long layering fun pieces, which, a few of them will be available in my Etsy shop this afternoon.

Hope your weekend is full of fun as mine has been! Join me later today in my Etsy shop for more pictures of these newly created designs.
