Bespoke Bee Lockets...

Hi there, there's a new collection dropping this evening in my Etsy shop that feature sweet little custom made genuine bee lockets. I got so inspired this past week from my garden bees here on the ridge that I decided to make a few locket necklaces that feature them. Now, with that said, I have NOT harmed these Eastern Bumblebees in any way. I have found them already deceased from natural causes while scouring my property, here on the mountain's ridge. I would NEVER intentionally kill anything for the sake of my work...all these bees were found As Is...I love these sweet little creatures, they are very sweet and gentle bees, and I am so happy they have found a home in my mountain garden.

...also have a couple of bracelets coming too that are also inspired from my mountain garden...

I also got to spend a little bit of time this past week with family on the always gorgeous Blue Ridge Parkway...

...and it was so cool to look out from the Blue Ridge and see our house across the valley...

And looking out the opposite direction....
dusk from our deck looking out towards the Blue Ridge Parkway...

Come join me later today in my Etsy shop for more pictures and info on these sweet bee pieces. There will be better detailed pictures and descriptions of them there.
Happy weekend everyone!!!

Gem Show Treasures...

Hello blog friends! Still having a wonderful and most peaceful time up here in my happy place at 4200 ft elevation! Went to the annual summer gem show that happens every year in the nearby town of Franklin, and scored some very cool treasures. The above piece, being one of my favorites, is a hand carved piece out of bone. You know me and the animal themed pieces....I am always so drawn to them!

Below are some stunning hand cut landscape agates cut it fascinating shield and kite shapes...those should be fun to work with! Thinking of prong setting these and hanging them from Victorian or Art Deco rhinestone pieces...

And absolutely fell in love with these hand made coin silver pieces from Tibet...

Such love and soul went into this trio of loveliness!

Scored some amazing golden creamy Tahitian pearls, each one with loads of individual personality...

And the most amazing thing from the show....

Rutilated Quartz briolettes with fabulous bits of gold strands running through them.

Found a cool collection of pave' locks that I will be adding to some designs in the coming days...

...and loads of loads of wonderful pearls were acquired...

I got so inspired and straight to work with the new gemstones this week and made a small collection of earrings for this week's jewelry shop drop...

These new earrings coming to the shop later today, or you can reach out to me for the early details on them.

Happy Weekend everyone and see you back here next weekend with more pieces using more of my gem show treasures!

French Inspiration...

Hello there jewelry loving friends! Finished up five new necklaces this past week that all feature some of those French pieces that I just got in! Wowzers, such great inspiration came out of that batch of goodies! Here's what transpired...

We also finished up the flooring this past week, which was a major ordeal. But, at least the crew installing it was so fast, friendly, and professional. They did a wonderful job and I am a happy camper!...

And onto this week's project....wallpaper! The French lion crest below will be in my master bath, because you know I gotta have something French going on somewhere...lol. Will be back next weekend with some "after" photos of what I tackle. I plan to be doing many wallpaper projects in this house, as I am currently obsessed with all things wallpaper.

We were blessed with a rainbow over the ridge this past week too...

This view just doesn't ever get old....and trust me...I am not taking it for granted for one second.
So Grateful and Blessed

All five of the new piece headed to my Etsy shop this afternoon. Come and visit them and me there.

Oh, and next week....I promise to have some earrings in the shop offerings!!!
Have a great week everyone!
