Hello and Happy New Year mes Amis!!! I wanted to take a second to wish all of you friends out there in blogland a very Blessed New Year. I also wanted to share that cute video I was speaking of on my last post. I posted it a couple of years ago, so I know some of you have seen it, but this video is just so darn cute, it is quite worthy enough to share again, so enjoy....

French Portraits and a Notebook...

Along with getting ready for Christmas I have been diligently getting some new pieces ready for the new year. Here are some French portrait pieces I have just recently finished and coming to my Etsy shop tonight and tomorrow, here's a sneak preview...

...I have also been hard at work on some special orders...

I also thought I would share my tree with y'all this year because I am so darn proud of it! I have been into the old 'less is more' theory this year with my Christmas decor...probably because I am so busy with so many other projects, ha!

But look at what ELEGANCE  plain old baby's breath and silk poinsettas turn a
simple green Christmas tree into...

Hope everyone is having a lovely holiday season, see you back here in a couple of days with the cutest Christmas video evah!!!! Merry Christmas my sweet blogger friends.

Some Musical Inspiration...

Hi everyone! I wanted to share with you this post the concert that Mary Kay and I were so lucky to attend last Friday night in Tallahassee. And oh my 'rock stars' what a concert it was!!! I absolutely love this extraordinary guitar virtuoso, Joe Bonamassa. He is nothing short of amazing, and to see him live,  passionate in his playing, was so awe-inspiring. I always love to see other artists doing what they love, it gives me so much inspiration to come home and create again.

I know the pictures are not the best, but I was able to get some fantastic video. Check out the clip below with him singing and playing acoustic guitar, he is a talent beyond this realm.....

I've also been hard at work lately on several Christmas special orders and making up some new earrings for my Etsy shop. Here are a few new pairs coming out this weekend....

Another major thing I have been working on lately is my Tumblr site "Sentimental Jewelry Journey". I have been obsessed with Tumblr the last several months and have been working on building my own site for a while. I am so excited to finally say, that I am ready to launch it! My talented jewelry designer friend Mary Kay drew my site's beautiful banner. So click on my banner below to see it up close and to check out my Tumblr endeavor, it really has been a lot of fun and I am so very proud of it. I feel that it is a beautiful place to escape and I hope it brings you some inspiration...

Au Revoir my friends. Enjoy the new site, and please feel free to let me know what you think. I would love the feedback!

Gathering...

Hi everyone, I just wanted to drop in and share some sweet old pieces I had fun gathering this past week for some upcoming designs....

...I found lots of little old glass perfume bottles...

...divine intervention must have occurred when I acquired this old hand carved ivory stag in the most exquisite Victorian gilt frame...

...and I was so over the moon excited to find this old butterfly wing reverse painted horse head brooch, I think I heard the angels singing when I spotted it....

...but my most favorite find of all....this gorgeous vintage porcelain piece with the most debonair soldier's portrait on it's facade...

...and check out these really sweet Victorian die cuts...

...they will be perfect for filling my old vintage lockets to make them a little extra special,
don't you think?

Be back in a few days with some pictures from the concert Mary Kay and I are going to tomorrow night. I will tell you who it is upon my return, I am really excited to finally get a couple of days off and will share all the fun with you guys when I get back. Anyone have any exciting plans this weekend? Would love to hear about them!

Back From the Brink...

Hello all my fellow jewelry lovers out there. I am back! Back from the brink of blogger exasperation. LOL! I laugh now, but a few days ago, it wasn't that pretty at my computer station. If anyone else is experiencing what I have been through with my blog the past few days, please contact me and I will help you get through what I have been trying for seven days to solve. The problem was, I was unable to upload pictures to my posts. I could pen my posts, but was unable to post any pictures. So if any of you are experiencing these same issues, I can help! Please don't hesitate to contact me. Blogger knows about this issue and is currently working on a fix, but I had to figure a solution out on my own in the meantime. During all this anguish, I have managed to create just a bit. Here are some new pieces coming to my Etsy shop this week....

Au Revoir my friends, see you back here in a couple of days to show you some treasures I found out antiquing this past weekend.
