Cheers, from 'Jolly Old England'...

Hello everyone in blogland! Here are just a few of the several hundred pictures I took of wonderful and FABULOUS London. I had the best time in this incredible city full of culture, great architecture, and the most kind people I have ever come across upon traveling. In fact, the kindness that everyone showed to us in that city will be the most memorable feature that I cherish from the trip. People in the underground subway would literally come and offer help if it looked as if you needed it. The kind hospitality from the people of that city still and will forever warm the corners of my heart.

Our beautiful hotel room transported us to Morocco everynight...

Quaint little mercantiles were scattered all over the city...

Fun old taverns and pubs that spilled over with jolly people on lunch hour and in the afternoons...
(and yes, I said lunch hour. hee hee)

Our 'Hyde Park' neighborhood where we stayed...

alot of time coming and going was spent here...

My jewelry designer friend, Mary Kay, who invited me to come with her on this incredible journey. If you get a chance, stop by her website Adorn Jewelry by Samouce and see her work. She is incredibly talented and has a great eye for fabulous!

I have a soft spot for musicians...because of my musician-husband. So I tried to stop in the underground and toss a few pounds their way to show my appreciation. Here is a really nice one that was singing Frank Sinatra and playing the trumpet. He was really talented...

You guys know me and those churches, can't stop taking pics of them! They just provide so much 'magic' for the camera lens...

The first antique market we shopped at. It was amazing, there were so many great deals, and again, the people and vendors were so amazingly kind...

My friend Mary Kay driving a hard bargain....oh and by the way, that vendor had some amazing finds. Will show you later!!!!

After a day of fun and prosperous shopping it was time for a pint and some good old fish and chips
at this fun pub...

Stay tuned friends, more pictures to come!!! I couldn't fit them all in one post, so will be back next time with Westminster Abbey, The Victoria-Albert Museum, and Big Ben.
Thank you for visiting with me and my exciting London trip.
CHEERS!!!!!

Oh, Christine, too much fun!!! I love your pics from beginning to end -- just perfect:) I want to stay the night in "Morocco" and have green peas with my fish and chips and haggle with vendors....LUV that orange (?) building with the stairstep roof line -- I saw those in Brugges; didn't know London had them too. Isn't the kindness of strangers so uplifting to the soul?? As you talked about the subway, I immediately saw a businessman (suit, briefcase, walking like he was in a 50-yard dash!)in Venice who stopped to ask if he could help us as we fumbled with our map.....
