I wanted to share with you this post why I am so enchanted by my happy place! This is a magical place called Cataloochee Valley, which happens to be just across the mountain from us. It's a protected national park so it is a sanctuary for animals and some beautiful, pristine American landscape.
Here are some of it's inhabitants, in all of their gorgeous and amazing glory ....

A mama black bear and her cubs just 50 feet from the front of our car.....
What a treat to see this amazing wildlife!

Our friends from Destin came to visit us...
....and there is nothing more fun than to share this special place with great friends!
Another magical place got underway this trip....
I'm talking about my.... NEW ART STUDIO!!!! I am so excited to have a place to design and work while I up here in my beautiful little 'home away from home'.
...and just look at the view I will have from my design desk! I should stay completely inspired with this view while I am designing.
All I have left to do is hang the chandelier and 'bring on the bling'!!!
