Working And Antiquing....

Went on our annual Milton, Florida antique jaunt this week....

...had a blast with my jewelry pal Mary Kay and stumbled upon some beautiful pieces that could only ever be acquired in my dreams....

The piece above was only $4,000. And needless to say, it did not come home with me. It's a very fascinating piece in the fact that it is an early Victorian conversion choker. It was made in the 1800's from a 14k gold filigree, pearl and diamond purse frame. Stunning isn't it?

And we got a good chuckle out of the cameo below...

It reminded us of Mary Kay's father....Imagine wearing a cameo around with an image of your dad!!! LOL.

I've also been working on an upcoming show. The annual Watercolor "Art In The Park" is coming up next week and I've been creating these long layering fun pieces, which, a few of them will be available in my Etsy shop this afternoon.

Hope your weekend is full of fun as mine has been! Join me later today in my Etsy shop for more pictures of these newly created designs.
