I went to our local bead show this weekend, and wow oh wow, did they have the good stuff this go around!!!
There was a gentleman there selling fabulous middle eastern pieces such as Roman Glass, Tibetan Prayer Beads, Afghanistan gold findings, Larimar, and Lapis, just to name a few of his extraordinary items. He had so much and I fell into a spell upon entering his booth. I found the two above pieces, which are both vintage, exquisite handmade pieces. The bird is amber and brass and handmade in Tibet and the horse pendant is green onyx and brass and handmade in Afghanistan...how cool are they?!?!?! They will make exquisite centerpieces on future necklaces.
The pearls below are hand made with brass bead caps and are from Tibet....
Beads caps from Afghanistan, and China along with silver vintage beads from Nepal...
....and the most gorgeous vintage Pave' rhinestone beads from Germany...
I found some great slices of flashy blue/gray laborodite...
...and wonderful, colorful strands of hand beaded crystals....
...and of course, I had to grab some pink tourmaline and faceted garnet stones....two of my all time faves!
Just look at this beautiful cobalt blue Lapis Lazuli I found and it's loaded with gold flecks...
I was so excited with my new/old finds, I got busy with them as soon as I got home...
These four new pieces will be available later this afternoon in my Etsy shop.
Happy weekend everyone!!!
