A Lover's Eye...

Hello blog friends! I've been staying busy this past week designing a new collection of Georgian Era inspired Lover's Eye pieces....and I have to admit, this collection was so much FUN!

For those of you not familiar with Lover's Eye jewelry...these were pieces of jewelry designed and created during the 1700's for sentimental reasons of spouses, loved ones, or children and were worn as brooches, pendants, lockets and rings to commemorate or celebrate that special loved one. The elaborately painted eye also symbolized the watching over of the wearer by the eye of whom the piece was depicted of. They were usually always hand painted on wafer thin ivory in watercolor by very the talented artists of the day. There is so much symbolism in this antique style of jewelry which makes it so very special and coveted. I have 

now re-created some pieces in my latest collection at some obtainable and affordable prices.

Creative Healing...

My beloved Bear passed onto the Rainbow Bridge this past Monday morning...

my heart is so broken!!!

He was a major part of my life for 17 years and 8 months...and I feel as if I've lost a part of my heart. 

I do want to thank you all for your kind comments and prayers via Instagram and emails. Your kind words and thoughts have meant so much to me and have helped brighten these past several days. Another thing that has helped during this heartbreaking time, is still being able to create.

Art really does SAVE my friends!!!...

I have been able to create a few things this past week and it has helped keep my mind and heart busy without doing too much 'dwelling' on the heart-wrenching reality of my loss.

My Sweet Bear...

Hi jewelry friends...I have been on a real emotional roller coaster these past few days as my beloved Pom, Bear has had a series of debilitating strokes over the course of the last few days. I am so saddened in the fact that he may be headed to the Rainbow Bridge very soon.

No new jewelry designs today, I will try to be back soon. Be sure to hug your fur children with extra love for me today....and cherish every precious moment you have with them!

A Cameo Bounty...

Bonjour mon amis! I'm bringin' on the cameo game strong this week!

I have three new/old necklaces that feature some real gorgeous (and exquisitely detailed) cameos coming to the shop today. I am serious...these cameos do not disappoint!!!

...I'll also have a new pair of earrings in  the shop today too..

 These new pieces will all be available early today sometime right after lunchtime.
