Europe Inspired....

 

There here!!! New designs inspired from my vacation to Europe. My newest pieces contain old European photos, hand painted portrait pieces, French mother of pearl crosses, Italian micro-mosaics, Belgian medals and slide lockets, Parisian chain-maille purses, and old English deer brooches....

Adieu Voyage

 

My last few days in Europe were bittersweet. Although I was more than ready to come home, I new I was going to miss this beautiful and wonderful place. The weather became so bad the last couple of days I was there, so we did not get to do everything on our list. Koln had to be canceled due to the very wet and cold day that we had it scheduled and the Belgium flea market was almost(but not quite) a wash...literally!

We spent plenty of time here...

 

...on the crazy-fast Autobahn. Oh, and those of you who have been to Germany....

Where the heck is Aushfart??? We never did find it! LOL!!!

 

 

 

 

 

There were plenty of old Gothic churches to see...

 

 

 

And there were lots of windows and shops filled with yummy and pretty things....

 

 

and then there was the architecture....

 

Wow, wow, and wow!

 

 

Here is one of the last places we ate...

 

It's an old abbey,

complete with sacred ground...

 

 

The inside of the abbey was so beautiful...

 

In this place, hops fill the air....

...delicious fresh brewed German beer fill the glasses...

 



 

 

...and delicious traditional Schnitzel flows from the kitchen...

And the very last day in Europe was filled with shopping...

A Weekend In Paris...

 

I don't care how many times you get to go to Paris....this magnificent structure just never, ever gets old. It literally takes your breath away when you stand before it... and that is just what it did for me the second time I saw it in person.....

 

So Magical!

 

And the beautiful river Seine that flows right beside it...

 

...the Eiffel Tower Carousel...

 

...is tres special too!!!

 

And all of the excitement on the street that surrounds the Tower...

 

 

...makes for a very special memory making experience.

My sister's favorite restaurant. We had to make a stop at this one, because she has been to every other one in Europe. Her European Hard Rock Cafe grand tour is now complete!
