Redecorating...

Bonjour blogworld! Been busy, busy this past week doing some long awaited re-decorating. Changing out fixtures for new/old sparkling French chandeliers...

I know....the next thing I have got to do is to tackle those ugly popcorn ceilings!

...and I have been replacing old furniture with some fabulous creations from my favorite furniture artists Marisol and Tony Gullo of my favorite furniture shop Shabby Chic Boutique.
The piece below was bought by the hubby for my birthday last year...and we finally have managed to find it's proper place in our home...

I just acquired this old shabby mahogany desk from them also....
Their work is gorgeous, isn't it?

...I have spent all week organizing it with our Mt. Everest sized paper trail we had accumulated over the past year. Does anyone else out there have this problem too? I think the paperwork multiplies at night while we are sleeping, I just don't know where it all comes from,  LOL. Now I am all ready to get on those taxes...I just can't wait for those fun times....blah! :-/

I did manage to sneak in a little jewelry making this past week too. Three new pieces that I have created this week will be coming to my Etsy shop this evening....

Thanks for stopping by my friends. Hope your week has been productive too!
See you back here in a few days time!

Oh be still my heart, your antique shabby furniture is to die for! I love the details on both pieces.

How well I know the dislike of textured walls and ceilings! I never realized how much I disliked them until I moved to Arizona. Most homes seem to have them.

Your gorgeous fixtures look so beautiful as they are. Whatever you do, do not watch HGTV and get caught up in all the updating of a home! You will never have a moments peace, LOL

Sophie said give the boys a hug from her. Now you know that's a lie, she is so unfriendly. :)
