French Inspiration...

Just finished some new pieces for the shop today... And they are all inspired by my antique French painting I bought last year and now have hung in my foyer. I am so in love with this painting....and when I stare into it's deep, rich colors it transports me to another place and time.... the turn of the 19th century, Gardens Of Versailles. (exactly what a good painting is supposed to do!) Here are this week's designs that came of the inspiration from this beautiful painting....

Delicate Summer Pieces...

I'm back from my summer siesta, and wow, did I got some rest! Rested my bones and brain at my mountain happy place and since I have been back I am so refreshed and  have been creating as soon as I hit my studio door. Here are the little delicate offerings for this week...

Sometimes something simple, gold and not so fussy is the perfect 'go-to' piece for the summer wardrobe!!!

Here are a few snapshots from the summer break...

...we had terrific weather, a bit warm for the mountains, but not near as bad as the humid Florida heat...

...we acted like tourists for a few days, and posed with local bears and had lunch in the heart of Gatlinburg...

...I also got a little bit of my 'to-do' list accomplished. I hung wallpaper in the master bath. I love the way it turned out...

...got to experience a huge double rainbow over the mountains...

...we also got to see one of the nation's top bluegrass bands, and WOWZA they did not disappoint!...

...and every afternoon's sunset looked like this....

We had an amazing time....so now it's back to WORK!!!

Hanging Chandeliers And Briollettes...

Hello friends, I spent much of this past week changing out all of my old fixtures for new sparkly ones and prepping my dining room for a good ol' face lift. Changing out fixtures, tables, chairs and hanging wallpaper, this should promise to be the time of my life (kidding). But all joking aside, this will be a real labor of love, but it will be so worth it, as I have not used my dining room for 'dining' in years! Looking forward to this 'to do' list project and I will post pictures here, of the finished project.

Even though this chandelier is not so old, I love the old world effect it leaves on my bedroom. This fixture really makes a statement....

The new dining room fixture...didn't really like it at first, but after we got it up and hanging I fell in LOVE with it...

The new guest bathroom vanity fixture...

...and some new pieces I finished this past week. They will be available to view in my Etsy shop early this afternoon...
