In Love with London...

The one and only, very historical, breathtakingly beautiful, Westminster Abbey..

Delicious lunch here, at a pub called "The Red Lion"...

We had the Stilton Blue cheese and sauteed leek baked potato, Oh, YUMMMM....

Then off to the Victoria and Albert Art Museum...

The beautiful art inside the museum....

We also visited their extensive collection of jewelry from all throughout history. Sadly, they would not let us photograph any of it. :~(

Big Ben and the Parliment building...

The iconic London Eye...

Note my earrings in the picture below...they are signed pieces from the Victoria and Albert museum and are absolutely exquisite in their construction. I was looking through the jewelry book we had purchased at the museum book store after I had purcahsed them, and lo and behold, they were in there! Designed to mimic a pair from the collection....

A fantastic souvenir from a fabulous museum, don't you think?
"Cheer-ee-o" my blog friends, see you soon with more European travel pics!
Thank you for stopping by!!!!

LUV the architecture of Westminster Abby. Great pics -- and though I've already had supper, I'm ready for that dish you had at the Red Lion. We must hear and see more about your earrings -- the rest of the story:)
