Summer Vacation...

Hello everyone! Sorry to have been away from my posting and designing lately, but the hubby, the babies (aka dogs) and I went on a little summer vacay to one of my favorite places in the mountains.... Maggie Valley, North Carolina. We went to catch a little r-n-r and look to purchase a little mountain retreat of our own. I really LOVE the weather up there this time of year. We're talking a beautiful and sunny 60-70 degrees during the days and a crisp cool 50's at night. LOVE!!! Every summer it gets hotter and hotter here in sunny Florida so these 70 degree temperatures in June are a real treat!
Here is some of the beautiful scenery in and around Maggie Valley....

This was our balcony in the cabin we stayed in. It was directly over a beautiful rushing creek...

Our bungalow with the 'fur babies'...

...a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole on the side of the road on the Blue Ridge Parkway...

...and you know you're in small town America when you get caught in the middle of a tractor parade... LOL....

So CUTE!

...and so beautiful....

....whilst we were looking at property, this little feathery guy strolled by....

After getting back and settled in, some new creations came about...

I hope you all have a special summer vacay in the works that will inspire you too! Thank you for stopping by and see you back here in a few days with some more designs inspired from my trip.
Au Revoir mes Amis!
