Winter Siesta....

Hope you all are enjoying all of the delights of the holiday season! As for me, I am at my little mountain spot enjoying some much needed R-n-R and a some really chilly weather! No snow yet...but experiencing some potential for some with these wintry mountain temps.

As of late, we've all been busy lounging by the fire....

....and we've been making some sweet little Christmas baskets for special friends. I really LOVE making personalized Christmas baskets, I usually make several every year filled with personal, special mementos for the family and our friends...

We were also finally able to get my French chandelier hung in my cabin's kitchen....

...this project was a year in the making. I found this treasure on my last trip to Belgium. I carried this thing by hand all over the Belgian flea market (which felt like hours and hours) until we could find our parked car. It took 3 months to ship here. And then upon taking it to my expert lighting guy (and scaring the living wits out of him with it) waited another 6 months for it to be re-wired. Finally it has made it to its final resting place... In my heart and hanging from the ceiling in my little mountain chalet...

...oh and what's a trip to North Carolina without partaking in a little Carolina BBQ?

We've also been enjoying some winter sunsets from the deck....

And look at what I woke up to this morning....we were literally floating above the clouds!
Heavenly isn't it???

And lastly and most importantly....look at this big bag of treasures I scored for my 2015 jewelry designs....
(oh yeah, and it's full)

Just a very small handful of what's inside...

...stay tuned for lots of sparkle coming in 2015!!!!
And be sure to join me next Sunday for some fresh new designs and pieces coming to my Etsy shop.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
