Had a wonderful week this past week having lunch with the 'families'.... and by that I mean my family and this cute little goose family that lives on the bay by the restaurant we had lunch in. These mama geese had tons of little ones with them, they're hard to see but most of them are floating off in the waves. And those mama geese were very protective of there babies....didn't even think about getting any closer than this!
My mom and my sister having lunch and celebrating my mom's retirement from 30 years in a hard labor camp, and by that, I mean, WalMart...
I also got to work in my flower garden this past week....
...and I couldn't help but notice that my roses are 'kickin' bootie' this year!!!
...I've had this same rose bush in my flower bed for many years, but this is the first year I've had this many beautiful, velvety blooms on it...
I was also able to try our neighborhood's newest pizzeria. They specialize in New York style pizza, which I am totally crazy about.....So Good!!!
I really loved the pizzeria's cool urban decor... Check out those light fixtures though!!!!
...And I have some new pieces finished up with lots of antique beaded cut steel elements...
All of these new pieces will be in my Etsy shop later this afternoon.

I adore nature and the mother goose protecting her babies is so precious.
YOUR MOM? She looks like a sister, come on!! Tell her I said she is beautiful, Walmart or not, LOL - that crazy store - at least she can enjoy life and have time to hear the birds singing. My man retired last month, he was done working, he told me. Okay, now comes the honey do lists. Right?
